On Friday I asked my students to make a sketch of their favorite Alaska animal because we were going to paint them and then write a paragraph about them since we have been working on our paragraph writing skills. In order to insure my students understand what I wanted I demonstrated a sketch of a moose. This is what I drew for a moose……
A human foot, anteater face, with a twig for antlers moose. Needless to say I am not going to be quitting my day job.
