I learned that the elders of the village are saying that it will be a winter with less snow. This is already evident with the lack of snow on the ground outside. Last year at this time we were already beginning to clear the entry way repeatedly. They said for the past two years we have received a lot of snow but the year before that we had little. Still praying for an awesome snow storm while mom is up here. Preferable while she is still here:) Closer to when she is supposed to leave. Then she has to stay!
Thanksgiving was looking like it was going to be a bust but Chels and I decided to have everyone over at our house for dinner and then meet up with the rest of the staff for dessert later in the evening. I am excited that we are all getting together. Makes the holiday that you are usually spending with family less lonely.
Student Council will also be hosting Turkey Bingo!! We change the whole commons area into a bingo hall. It is awesome. A lot of people come and we play bingo late into the night. We play every kind and there are prizes donated that we give away. It will be a lot of fun!
