I have learned that cabin fever affects people at different times. Some people get affected starting in December when they are not able to escape by snowmachine out to another village. For others it doesn't start until March when it is supposed to be Spring outside. I remember that's when mine started last year. There are many different avenues in which people try to find solace. Some find it through illegal means, others through causing problems for others, and still others just try to get through it. It is a very hard mental decision that people have to make in order to keep going.
